Thank you, 2025!

As this year comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on starting a new business — and a new vision of how to work as a team. I built the company and its pied-à-terre: the atelier at Leutschentower.

We began in a shared office and artist’s studio — Bureau GEM — a cooperative for 30 years, housing journalists, lawyers, writers, urban planners, and artists. What a wonderful place to work!

At the same time, Bureau Lüthi began planning our atelier: a meeting room encased by storage for our samples, fabric library, and curated books and magazines. Every day, walking into the atelier, I’m amazed by what Bureau Lüthi created and built for us.

Working closely with my former company, KahnSwienty, we ensured all projects initiated the previous year were delivered to the high standards our clients expect — including deliveries for river cruise ships and five-star luxury hotels, as well as a uniform concept for a major company, from reception to kitchen staff.

Becoming a Swiss Deluxe Preferred Supplier was a significant milestone for Fashion Collective.

In early July, we moved into our nearly finished atelier and enjoyed adding the finishing touches that make our days flow smoothly and stylishly — from teacups to laptops, cutters, fabrics, samples, and inspirations, everything found its place. Soon, our first Fashion Fellows applied, visited, and settled in. Seeing their excitement about creating garments designed to last — and worn by teams over time — has been one of the most rewarding experiences of the year.

What began as a vision has become real — and promising for the years ahead. The energy I hoped to create has reached many people, and now, they’re bringing the collective to life.

Thank you to Tatiana, Vera, Claire, Inès, Sascha, Justine, Sue, Noa, and Eglė — and to everyone who helped us get here.
