The Art of Off-White

Spring and its quiet tones: ivory, off-white, eggshell - come to my mind after coloring easter eggs last week-end.

These shades feel more like a whisper — soft, timeless, and in high demand for spas or tunics for luxurious destination hotels.

Eggwhite is quiet, subtle and elegant. Unlike true white, off-white offers an alternative that plays beautifully with light, skin tones, and texture. It complements colour, rather than competes with it. And in many workwear settings, it brings that soft and exclusive focus our clients seek.

Architect Le Corbusier included off-white in his Polychromie Architecturale as a foundational neutral—because of its ability to make a space feel both calm and alive. That’s exactly what these shades bring to clothing as well: a quiet vitality.

There’s a reason so many clients, after feeling the material, ask me: “Do you have this in off-white?”

Yes—we do. And we’re building an entire fabric collection around it. Fabrics for Spa trousers, tunics, shirts—eggshell brings calm and purity, with just enough depth to feel sophisticated. It feels both fresh and familiar. Clean and minimal. With our expert fabric suppliers these fabrics will stand the high quality standards for hot wash to get all treatment oils out of the garments.
